Libraries around the world make every effort to deliver services and give access to their collections to blind and visually impaired people.

But do librarians know how to behave with these vulnerable categories of users?
“Speak in your normal tone of voice. Avoid yelling or speaking loudly to individuals with vision loss” and “Ask the patron, <<How may I help you?>>” are some advice offered by the American Library Association.
